Dates for Family Weekend 2014 have CHANGED as of 4/9/14.
Dear Families –
We are aware that the original weekend selected for Family Weekend 2014 began on the second day of Rosh Hashanah which is Friday, September 26, 2014. This year’s weekend options were particularly limited which made scheduling challenging. For many years, we have successfully avoided scheduling Family Weekend during religious observances and holidays. Family Weekend programming has traditionally been concentrated on Saturday and Sunday to accommodate parents who travel from out of town. Since most programs were concentrated on Saturday and Sunday, we believed that the original dates, while not ideal, would accommodate families and students who observe Rosh Hashanah.
However, after consulting with a number of students, parents, and colleagues who observe Rosh Hashanah, we have decided to change the dates of Family Weekend to Friday, September 19 - Sunday, September 21, 2014. While we may not be able to avoid all such conflicts in the future, when we can avoid them, we will make every reasonable effort to do so. This will continue to be our goal as we would like all families to have the option of joining us for Family Weekend. Thank you for your understanding.

Registration is not yet available. Family Weekend 2014 REGISTRATION WILL OPEN IN MID-JULY 2014 and will be available ONLY via this web site. Please check back for updated program information.
Hotel arrangements are not coordinated within the Family Weekend program and must be made separately. Each family is responsible for making its own reservations. It is highly recommended that hotel reservations be made early due to the large number of visitors expected on campus during the weekend.
PLEASE NOTE: Family Weekend and Homecoming are NOT on the same weekend. Homecoming is October 24-26, 2014.
